Chief Financial Officer

Richard (Dick) O’Connell – Mr. O’Connell has been TMNcorp’s Chief Financial Officer since 2011. He is responsible for all of the company’s financial operations including strategic financial planning, financial management, budgeting, compliance with regulations, and contracts. He has helped dozens of small business owners and leaders work through difficult problems, plan for the future, and achieve better business results through  executive coaching, business analysis, and strategic planning.  Dick draws on his years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and corporate leader to help executives see situations and issues more clearly and then to develop plans and solutions that work.

His experiences include:

  • Group Chair for Vistage International, the pre-eminent organization for the personal and professional development of business owners, company presidents and CEOs,  where he developed his skills as an executive coach and meeting facilitator.
  • Founder and President of Myriad Logic, Inc. Dick led Myriad through 15 years of profitability and growth, culminating in the sale of the firm to Mercury Computer Systems (a mid-sized public firm) in 2002.  After the sale of Myriad, Dick joined Mercury as a divisional Vice President to insure the smooth integration of Myriad’s operations and financial systems.
  • Engineering and management capacities at General Electric’s Space Division, Computer Sciences Corporation and Johnson Controls.

Dick earned his MBA from The George Washington University in 1983 while working at General Electric.  He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1975. Dick is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery and volunteers in the Small Business Adminstration’s SCORE program, providing counseling services to microbusinesses.
